Fedor looked really small in comparison to his opponent; a well timed takedown early in the 2nd round meant that Silva was on top of Fedor for what seemed like an eternity. I take my hat off to Fedor for such a great display of skill. He managed to survive a rain of huge hammerfists delivered by his opponent from a full-mount position. Despite not getting knocked out or tapping out; the much larger Silva was able to deliver blows devastating enough for the match to be stopped before the 3rd and final round began. Fedor Emelianenko picked up loss #3 of his career at the hands of Bigfoot Silva.
